Window System
MB-79 Casement outward opening
The MB-79N Casement outward-opening window system with thermal break is part of the MB-79N system and is used for creating elements of external architectural structures, such as: various types of windows, windbreaks, storefronts, and spatial structures, which are characterized by good thermal and acoustic insulation as well as water and air tightness. This system meets requirements for energy conservation and environmental protection.
Depending on needs, we have 3 variants of aluminum profile construction
with different technical parameters available:
variant E (basic), variant ST (with two-component central seal),
and variant SI (with additional insulating inserts inside
the chamber between thermal breaks). The MB-79N Casement system, thanks to
its wide range of profiles and their rigidity, allows for the construction of
large and heavy structures. It is also characterized by excellent
kinematics, which, depending on needs, also allows for the construction of very
small windows.
System features and advantages:
The construction depth of window profiles is: 70 mm (frame), 79 mm (sash). These adopted depths of sash and frame profiles create a flush surface effect on the interior side when closed.
Profiles used in the system have a three-chamber construction, where the central chamber is an insulation chamber between shaped thermal breaks with widths of 36 and 35 mm.
The system enables high thermal insulation by using EPS insulating inserts, which are placed in the central chamber of the composite profile.
High water penetration and air infiltration tightness as well as good thermal insulation can be achieved thanks to, among other things, special shapes of single or two-component central seals (with cellular insulating part) and glazing and closing seals.
Large permissible construction dimensions and weight: up to 1400 x 2700 mm or up to 2400 x 2500 mm, sash weight up to 180 kg.
Very good window kinematics enables proper functioning of opening structures with sash dimensions starting from 270 mm
Available balcony door solutions with convenient, low threshold as well as renovation frames
Most seals (e.g., glazing seals and external closing seal) are installed continuously, without cutting at corners, joining seal ends at the midpoint of the upper crossbars of window frames. The central window seal is cut at a 45° angle and glued at corners or at a 90° angle and glued to a rubber corner piece. A central seal in the form of a vulcanized frame is also available. This method of seal installation guarantees very good water and air penetration tightness.
Ranges of possible glazing thicknesses: window frame – from 1.5 to 54 mm, window sash – from 10.5 to 63 mm. The wide glazing range allows for the installation of all types of single-chamber, double-chamber, acoustic, or anti-burglary glass available on the market.
The use of standard "Euro" type hardware grooves allows for the installation of available hardware designed for both outward-opening aluminum and plastic windows. Profiles without grooves in the frame are used for scissor hardware.
In MB-79N Casement system windows, scissor hardware (concealed) or traditional pivot hinges (visible) can be used.
Profile drainage can be executed in covered or visible versions with a decorative cap.
Composite profiles can be subjected to powder coating and anodizing processes.
Profile connections are made, similarly to MB-79N, with minimal processing using supplied aluminum connectors and additional accessories.
Construction technology is maximally simplified to minimize execution time.
Tooling (drilling templates, presses, or punches) can be used for most processing operations. All tooling elements for the MB-79N Casement system are located in the Tooling section.
The MB-79N Casement system is compatible with other Aluprof systems, particularly with MB-79N. Thanks to this, many elements are applicable in more than one system, e.g., glazing beads, seals, hardware, and most accessories.
