MB-SR50N EFEKT
The MB-SR50N EFEKT system is used for creating light curtain walls of suspended and filling types, as well as roofs, skylights, and other spatial structures.
Its load-bearing structure is based on the modern and proven MB-SR50N aluminum mullion-transom system, offering a wide range of profiles and the possibility of selecting profiles that allow for flushing the surfaces of mullions and transoms from the interior side of the facade, thus enabling aesthetic connection with the interior building elements. This also ensures compatibility with other structures based on the wide product base of Aluprof SA.
MB-SR50N EFEKT is a facade in which, thanks to the use of a special glass mounting system to mullions and transoms, we obtain from the outside a uniform image of a smooth glass wall divided by a structure of vertical and horizontal lines two centimeters wide. The gaps between the glass fields of the facade are filled with special silicone sealant, ensuring high construction tightness and enhancing insulation properties.
One of the main advantages of the MB-SR50N EFEKT facade is the rich glazing possibilities: the wide range of fillings available in the catalog includes single or double-chamber glass, as well as opaque panels based on laminated glass. A true innovation and undoubtedly a hit in this type of elevation is the possibility of using glass units with laminated glass. The precisely developed filling mounting system allows for flexible and economical adaptation to the technical requirements of a given project – it is differentiated depending on the glass weight and includes solutions enabling load transfer from glass to profiles that allow for their load capacity up to 450 kg. We have two standard glass mounting variants available: using continuous or point frame, which allows for optimization of the production process and price. Another major advantage of the system is that it has recommendations from three world-leading suppliers of structural and weatherproofing silicones: Dow Corning, Sica, and Tremco-Ilbruck, which not only raises the prestige of this solution but ensures and guarantees the strength and tightness of the structure, as well as easy access to the technology among glass companies. Also noteworthy in this system is the possibility of using silicones in various color ranges, which significantly broadens the spectrum of facade aesthetic creation.
Facades made in the MB-SR50N EFEKT system have excellent performance parameters. Their application allows for achieving not only the desired elevation aesthetics but also very high thermal insulation, which, due to the strong global trend focused on reducing building energy consumption, is one of the main criteria for evaluating modern curtain walls.
