Window and Door System
MB-79 with thermal insulation

MB-79N is the most modern and economical window and door system in Aluprof's offer. It was introduced to meet increased thermal insulation requirements. It is used for constructing various types of installations, including: fixed windows, casement windows, tilt windows, tilt-and-turn windows, tilt-and-slide windows, as well as single and double-leaf external doors and storefront solutions with doors. In addition to the economical MB-79N E version with a single-component central seal in windows and the MB-79N ST version with a two-component central seal, the product has an MB-79N SI variant with the best thermal insulation, featuring profiles equipped with insulating inserts and a two-component central seal. For external doors, the MB-79N SI+ variant is also available with insulating inserts inside the profiles and a central seal.

Functionality and aesthetics

• profiles with a depth of 79 mm (window sash) and 70 mm (frame and door leaf)

• thermal breaks made of innovative material with a new shape, allowing for the use of seals in the profile insulation zone in both windows and doors
• 3 thermal variants for window constructions (MB-79N E, MB-79N ST, MB-79N SI) and 4 variants for doors (MB-79N E, MB-79N ST, MB-79N SI, and MB-79N SI+)
• construction meeting the Technical Conditions requirements from 2021 for windows (0.9 W/(m2K)) and doors (1.3 W/(m2K))
• thermal insulation: Uw from 0.64 W/(m2K), Uf from 0.83 W/(m2K)
• very good kinematics, allowing for the construction of narrow opening windows and doors
• door leaf profiles have expansion joints, which eliminate thermal stress during operation
• possibility of using concealed hinges and the most popular perimeter hardware, including hidden hardware, along with the most modern AluPilot window hardware, distributed exclusively by Aluprof; automation and access control functions are also available for doors
• wide glazing range with 2- or 3-pane units up to 63 mm thick for windows and up to 54 mm for doors, allowing the use of all common types of glass, including acoustic or anti-burglary glass
• possibility of manufacturing anti-burglary doors in classes RC1 – RC3 as well as panel doors, offering rich aesthetic possibilities
• large selection of handles from various stylistic series, including handles with visible rosettes or rosette-free handles with a minimalist appearance
